Why Do I Have to Pay a Monthly Maintenance Fee for My Website?
There’s a lot more to a website than the initial design process. You will be excited and proud to see your new website launch but there’s a lot going on “under the hood”.
Your website must be hosted on a server powerful enough to handle the visitors your site will receive on a daily basis. With our maintenance plan, your site will be backed-up once a day. We’ll have access to these backups in the event that your site is hacked or goes down. This makes it very easy for us to get your site back up and running as soon as possible.
Once your site is launched, you will need to update your plugins and software on a regular basis. This requires knowledge of WordPress software, plugins, and PHP (the language your site is built with).
Most business owners don’t have the time to do all of this while they are running their business. That’s why we handle it all for you!
Your monthly maintenance fee includes hosting, daily backups, and all updates for plugins and software. This ensures that your site continues to run smoothly.
If you need to make a minor change on your website such as updating a phone number or changing some text, no problem… that’s included at no extra charge. (For more complicated updates our hourly rate will apply).
